چکیده

The most severe abiotic stress that maneuvers plant growth and harms modern agriculture is salinity. Food insecurity considered to be a result of cereals being negatively influenced by this stress. Many strategies are used lessen the effects salinity, however, them quite expensive. To influence salinity on maize crop, pot study was carried out in greenhouse utilizing four salts tolerant PGPR isolates. In Arid Zone Research Center (AZRC) DI Khan, hybrid Shahensha grown pots using ST-PGPR inoculum as treatment. Rhizobacteria encourage were isolated produced significant benefits for planted saline soil. investigation indicated improved with inoculation all (ECe = 9.3 dS m-1), although isolate AM3 Pseudomonas aeruginosa demonstrated highest dry biomass. comparison inoculated strains control exhibit simultaneously soil health treated It can easily argued may potential remedy issue. therefore recommended must included production technology crops growing salinity-hit areas.

Mechanisms of plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) and mycorrhizae fungi to enhancement of plant growth under salinity stress: A review

Salinity is the major environmental factor limiting plant growth and productivity. Under salinity conditions, plant growth is affected by a number of factors such as hormonal and nutritional imbalance, ion toxicity, physiological disorders, susceptibility to diseases, etc. Plant growth under stress conditions may be enhanced by the application of microbial inoculation including plant growth pro...

Plant growth promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR): a review

Soil microbial communities are often difficult to characterize, mainly because of their immense phenotypic and genotypic diversity. In the last ten years, a number of PGPR that have been identified has seen a great boost, mainly because the role of the rhizosphere as an ecological unit has gained importance in the functioning of the biosphere and also because mechanisms of action of PGPR have b...

Effect of seed priming with selenium nanoparticles and plant growth promoting rhizobacteria on improving Quinoa seedling growth under salinity stress

Soil and water salinity are the most important problems that limit crop production, especially in the arid and semi-arid regions. This study was conducted to investigate the effect of growth-promoting bacteria and selenium nanoparticle pretreatment on increasing the tolerance of the Chenopodium quinoa plant to salinity. A factorial experiment was conducted in a completely randomized design with...

Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria Effect on Antioxidant Status, Photosynthesis, Mineral Uptake and Growth of Lettuce under Soil Salinity

This study was carried out to investigate the effects of plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) on the antioxidant status, photosynthesis, mineral content and growth of lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) under different soil salinity conditions. Increasing salinity in the soil decreased plant growth, photosynthesis, stomatal conductance, chlorophyll content, and mineral uptake compared to soil wi...
